The MBA program engages the student's mind and sets it into high gear. The rigorous case studies approach is balanced with applications from real life experiences transported into the classroom by facilitators and students, who hold key positions in the private and public sectors.
Firm on standards and quality, the program allows the student to tailor the study route to meet personal and professional specific requirements. It is specifically designed to provide an intellectually demanding and rigorous plan of action that enables the student to work towards an MBA on a subject-by-subject basis.
In today's business environment, the difference between success and failure can be determined by being the first to develop and implement new and innovative ideas. Hence, the program also equips students to become managers who can make difficult and challenging decisions to ensure the prosperity and continuity of their organizations.
Student needs to complete 54 credits to be considered for the award of the degree. This can be obtained on two tracks:
1. Thesis track – student takes 14 courses (42 credits), and writes a thesis (12 credits) that is then submitted in the official format. A final defense of the thesis is set with the presence of the official representatives from the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports (MoEYS).
2. Non-thesis track - student takes 14 courses (42 credits), and in lieu of the thesis, takes four more subjects (12 credits) one of which is a research report that is also submitted in the official format. Final submission of this report serves as the basis for the student to take the state examinations set by the Graduate School with official observers from the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports (MoEYS).
The GPA requirement in all courses must be met in both tracks.
This program is made available on weekends and weekdays.
1. For weekends:
Saturday: 2:00-5:00 p.m.; and 5:15-8:15 p.m.
Sunday: 8:00-11:00 a.m.; and 12:00-3:00 p.m.
2. For weekdays:
Monday to Friday: 5:30-8:30 p.m.
